Blue Ridge Aquaculture to Expand Tilapia Growing Operation
Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Blue Ridge Aquaculture will invest $3.2 million to expand their aquaculture operation in Henry County and create five new jobs. Founded in 1993, Blue Ridge Aquaculture is the largest producer of aquaculture-raised tilapia in the world using an environmentally sensitive, indoor recirculating system; producing 4 million pounds of tilapia a year and shipping between 10,000 and 20,000 pounds of live tilapia each day.
Novatech to bring 50 new jobs to Henry County
Martinsville, VA (December 13, 2016) – Novatech group to invest $3 million to establish first US manufacturing operation.
Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Novatech Group, a leading Quebec manufacturer of doorglass, steel doors, patio doors, retractable screens, and insulated glass with or without blinds, will invest $3 million to establish its first U.S. manufacturing operation in Henry County. The company will lease a 100,000-square-foot facility to produce and distribute a variety of patio doors. Virginia successfully competed against six other states for this project, which will create 50 new jobs.
