The Commonwealth purchases almost $8 billion in goods and services annually. 42% of that amount is earmarked for small businesses. Becoming SWaM-certified and registered on the eVA procurement system can help maximize your business opportunities.
Lynne Mann of Crater Procurement Technical Assistance Center will give an overview of the eVA and Randy Brown of Virginia Small Business & Supplier Diversity will speak on the SWaM program, offer guidance on creating or updating your accounts, and explain how to navigate the bidding system.
Several purchasers from governmental offices will also be in attendance with information about their product and service needs.
Anyone wishing to do business with any of these entities is encouraged to attend.
Register by clicking the ORANGE register button above. Contact the EDC office at 276-403-5950 if you are interested in one-on-one assistance with Lynne Mann.
