The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Office of Small & Minority Business Development offers the following services.

  • Entrepreneurial training
  • Referrals to other resources
  • Procurement assistance SWaM (state) and HUBZone (federal)

The Office can coordinate:
  • State and local incentives for existing or new businesses
  • Licensing and permitting
  • Historical tax credits
  • Financing
  • Export assistance
  • Research and development assistance
  • Worker training programs

Program services are designed to meet the needs of businesses with less than 250 employees.

The EDC Small and Minority Business Development Office begins its 3rd annual State & Local Procurement Conference on Oct. 15 at the Quality Inn/Dutch Inn.
