The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Small, Minority & Entrepreneurial Division offers the following services:

  • Assistance writing business plans
  • Preparation for financing applications
  • Business expansion and recruitment assistance
  • Entrepreneurial training
  • Referrals to other resources
  • Procurement assistance SWaM (state) and HUBZone (federal)

The Division can coordinate:
  • State and local incentives for existing or new businesses
  • Licensing and permitting
  • Historical tax credits
  • Financing
  • Export assistance
  • Research and development assistance
  • Worker training programs

Program services are designed to meet the needs of businesses with less than 250 employees.
