The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Small, Minority & Entrepreneurial Division offers the following services:
- Assistance writing business plans
- Preparation for financing applications
- Business expansion and recruitment assistance
- Entrepreneurial training
- Referrals to other resources
- Procurement assistance SWaM (state) and HUBZone (federal)
The Division can coordinate:
- State and local incentives for existing or new businesses
- Licensing and permitting
- Historical tax credits
- Financing
- Export assistance
- Research and development assistance
- Worker training programs
Program services are designed to meet the needs of businesses with less than 250 employees.
