Business Loans and Cash Flow to be Explained at Workshop
Martinsville, VA (October 18, 2013) - The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Small, Minority & Entrepreneurial Division is hosting a workshop on understanding cash flow for entrepreneurs and business owners who intend to seek financing or investors. The free workshop is scheduled on October 31st, from 9-11AM at New College Institute (30 Franklin Street, Martinsville).
Obtaining a loan can provide the capital needed to start or expand a business. However, lenders often want to see a solid business plan, including one of its most crucial components - cash flow. Before approaching a bank or potential investor, entrepreneurs should understand and be able to explain their cash flow - where money is coming from and where it is going.
Retired banker Carolyn Shough will lead the discussion and give tips on the topics.
Registration is required for this free workshop by calling 276.403.5940, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting www.YesMartinsville.com/Events.
