                           Marketing Workshop Scheduled for July 25th
Martinsville, VA (July 12, 2013) - The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation's Small, Minority and Entrepreneurial Division is hosting a workshop focusing on Creative Marketing on a Budget. The event will be held Thursday, July 25th from 12-1:30pm at the Virginia Museum of Natural History.

Most small businesses operate on a limited budget and often need to stretch their financial resources to keep the business afloat. Fortunately there are many creative ways to promote a business without a huge marketing budget. Guest Speaker Beth Deatherage of HD Web Studio will cover marketing methods that are both effective and economical for small businesses.

Participants are welcome to bring business cards, brochures and flyers to share as this will also be a networking opportunity for the entrepreneurs and businesses.

This training opportunity is part of the monthly Small Business Focus Group Meeting series offered by the EDC's Small, Minority & Entrepreneurial Division. This series is designed to provide entrepreneurs with technical training and business networking.
