Did you know that there are several funding opportunities available for small businesses in Martinsville and Henry County? Some are matching grants and some are low-cost loans. This informational session will give you details on your options. • Financing Information - Details on programs, incentives and assistance available specifically for small businesses. • Community Development Block Grant - A low cost loan program for existing or prospective businesses in the Martinsville Business District Revitalization project area (only includes geographical area bounded by West Main Street, Moss Street, the eastern portion of Fayette Street, Jones Street and Franklin Street). • Marketing Co-op Grant - A matching grant that can be used for a variety of approved marketing needs such as web design/development, graphic design, printing of marketing materials, print ads, signage, TV commercials, radio ads, photography, professional memberships and more. More details here. • Local Bankers On-Site - Network individually with local financial institutions to see if they have a product to fit your needs.
