Small and Minority Business Forum Scheduled
Martinsville, VA (Oct. 11, 2006) – The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation’s Office of Small and Minority Business will host a small and minority business owner forum every other month beginning in October. The first forum will be held October 18, 2006, at noon at the M-HCEDC’s office located at 134 East Church Street.
The purpose of the forum is to provide business owners with an opportunity to share information with the EDC about their businesses, allow them to provide feedback with regard to business services, provide participants with a brief educational opportunity and networking with other business owners.
The educational topic for the October meeting will cover services provided by the Office of Small and Minority Business Development. Lunch will be provided at no charge. Seating is limited and is on a first-come basis.
